Individual and Group Lessons

Hi, I'm Rose!

Thanks for your interest in having guitar lessons with me. I’m a classical guitarist (Masters in Classical Guitar Performance) and Suzuki Method accredited teacher in Melbourne, AU.

I offer group classes and individual guitar lessons for young beginners aged 5 and up.  I teach with the Suzuki Method for classical guitar. I also guide adult students in fingerstyle technique.

I recognize the potential in each one of my students.  I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since starting as a private teacher in 2010, I've taught beginners to advanced intermediate students fingerstyle technique on nylon string guitar.

I’m a patient and professional guitar teacher ready to help you reach your goals. Get in touch today so we can start working together.

The Suzuki Method (Japan) is an educational approach from early childhood onwards that takes a holistic approach to learning a musical instrument.

It distinguished by “learning through play” where musical games help build skills, alongside  hands-on parental involvement that ensures a child’s steady progress

Learning a musical instrument is a long term process that takes patience, time and commitment.

In group lessons, your child will be introduced to the classical guitar, socialise through music, and learn through being able to listen and watch their companions learn.

In one on one lessons, your child will benefit from being able to work at their own pace, have the opportunity to learn according to their individual needs  and will participate in group lessons (2 per term).

  • Aimed towards beginners aged 5 and up

  • Half hour lesson duration

  • Affordable rates

  • Group lessons are maximum 4 students per group

  • Enjoyable for adults to learn a new skill and discover the joys of playing guitar
